25 more "green" trucks for long-haul run
The Italian haulier Arcese continues to add LNG and Bio LNG-powered vehicles to its fleet, as demonstrated by its recent acquisition of 25 new S-Way LNG vehicles. Today, 16% of the Arcese Group's own fleet are vehicles powered by alternative fuels.
The group's decision to convert its fleet to alternative fuels is part of its long-standing strategy to reduce its carbon footprint. It is also in line with European directives, which have set a target of cutting CO2 emissions from commercial vehicle traffic by 30% by 2030. The new vehicles will be deployed on long-haul routes between Germany and Italy. (ben)
