20th A330P2F completes conversion programme
The second A330-300P2F for MNG Airlines has been re-delivered by Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) and is scheduled to begin commercial operations in the coming days. During the past seven months, the EFW team worked on converting the aircraft from a passenger-to-freighter (P2F) solution.
With this re-delivery, the A330P2F conversion programme has now also hit another important mark: TC-MCN is the 20th Airbus wide body conversion freighter, which take to the skies on its mission for high performance deliveries of air cargo – sustainable and at lower costs compared to other available freighter aircraft types of this size.
MNG Airlines is planning to further increase its cargo capacity with Airbus conversion aircraft. These plans include growing MNGs flight network and increasing cargo capacity with A330-300P2Fs and also, due to market demand, with A321P2F freighters. (cj)
