150 Actros units for efficiency and safety
The German haulier Tevex Logistics is modernising its fleet with 150 new Mercedes-Benz Actros L vehicles. A further 50 Actros L units are under option. A first batch of 14 trucks was recently handed over by the manufacturer Mercedes Benz in Wörth (Germany). The others will be delivered over the course of the year.
Tevex specialises in refrigerated transport and supplies food retailers throughout Germany.
The new Actros come with plenty of innovations, including a new ‘ProCabin’, which reduces fuel consumption through improved aerodynamics and thus contributes to increased efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions, Daimler said. The vehicles are also equipped with driver safety assistance systems. (ben)
