100+ Zetros trucks for Ukraine
Mercedes Benz Special Trucks has delivered over 100 highly off-road-capable Zetros trucks to Ukraine for military support and logistics applications. Drivers were trained in the operation of these cab-behind-engine vehicles in advance.
Most of the units have permanent all-wheel drive and are equipped for a wide range of uses off and on-road. The permissible gross vehicle weight varies between 16.5 and 40 t.
The trucks have OM 460 six-cylinder in-line diesel engines with 265 to 350 kW (360 to 476 hp). A displacement of 12.8 litres provides a maximum torque of up to 2300 Nm. (ben)
