100 years on European waterways
The inland waterway shipping company, CSPL, an affiliate of Rhenus, is celebrating its centenary this year. The group was founded in the Czech town of Děčín, still its headquarters, 100 years ago.
CSPL represents the entire shipping world in Czechia as no other firm can. It was taken over by the Rhenus Group in 2018 and is therefore in a good position to face future challenges.
The inland navigation group transports bulk and heavy goods, general cargo as well as investment and construction parts, on the inland waterways of Central Europe, focusing mainly on Germany's canal network and the Elbe River. CSPL transported almost 316,000 t of goods in 2021. (sh)
