100 candles for US short-line railroad
The Mississippi Export Railroad (MSE) is celebrating 100 years of service to the Gulf Coast region. Since 1922, the US short-line railroad has played a vital role in developing many businesses along the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coasts.
The 70 km railway line extends from Pascagoula to Evanston MI. It’s the north-south corridor connecting the Canadian National Railroad (CN) and the east-west line of CSX Transportation (CSXT).
Through haulage agreements MSE also provides connections to Norfolk Southern (NS) in Mobile AL and Hattiesburg MS, and to Kansas City Southern (KCS) in Jackson MS. These connections and their alliances link the Gulf of Mexico to all points on the continent and beyond. (ben)https://mserr.com/
