Lors d&#8217;une d\u00e9monstration, l&#8217;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Rotterdam et des partenaires du projet europ\u00e9en MAGPIE ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comment un bateau int\u00e9rieur peut naviguer de mani\u00e8re autonome entre deux terminaux dans un port tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9. Le navire a relev\u00e9 le d\u00e9fi de naviguer en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 parmi le trafic maritime r\u00e9gulier.<\/p>\n<p>Le bateau int\u00e9rieur <em>MS Letitia<\/em>, appartenant au groupe HTS, a quitt\u00e9 Amaliahaven sur la Maasvlakte et a navigu\u00e9 via Europoort et Nieuwe Waterweg jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 Waalhaven \u00e0 Rotterdam. Pendant la d\u00e9monstration, le <em>MS Letitia<\/em>, propuls\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re conventionnelle, a op\u00e9r\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re autonome. Le navire a effectu\u00e9 diverses man\u0153uvres, y compris le d\u00e9part, la navigation \u00e0 travers le port et le long du fleuve, ainsi que l&#8217;accostage, le tout sans intervention humaine. Parall\u00e8lement, le syst\u00e8me surveillait en continu son environnement, d\u00e9tectait d&#8217;autres navires et les contournait en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, en tenant compte des conditions. Le capitaine reste cependant responsable et peut intervenir \u00e0 tout moment, tandis que le syst\u00e8me soutient la navigation et la prise de d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<h3>N\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de la recherche dans la navigation maritime autonome<\/h3>\n<p>Oscar van Veen, directeur de l&#8217;innovation \u00e0 l&#8217;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Rotterdam, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u00ab La conduite autonome permet de nouveaux concepts logistiques qui am\u00e9liorent la flexibilit\u00e9, l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 et la fiabilit\u00e9 de la navigation int\u00e9rieure. Celle-ci est une voie de transport importante pour le trafic de l&#8217;arri\u00e8re-pays du port de Rotterdam. Les conteneurs, les marchandises en vrac et les liquides transport\u00e9s par voies navigables int\u00e9rieures all\u00e8gent le r\u00e9seau routier et sont d\u00e9plac\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re plus \u00e9conome en \u00e9nergie que sur la route. Compte tenu de la croissance du volume de fret, il est crucial que la navigation int\u00e9rieure maintienne et d\u00e9veloppe sa part dans le transport de fret. La conduite autonome pourrait jouer un r\u00f4le \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>L&#8217;avenir des ports intelligents<\/h3>\n<p>L&#8217;Europe est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 de grands d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, \u00e0 la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 industrielle, aux objectifs climatiques et \u00e0 la r\u00e9silience strat\u00e9gique. Les ports jouent un r\u00f4le de plus en plus important en tant que sites o\u00f9 des innovations sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es et appliqu\u00e9es pratiquement. Le projet MAGPIE a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer ce d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n<p>La navigation maritime autonome est l&#8217;un des dix projets de d\u00e9monstration au sein de MAGPIE. Ces d\u00e9monstrateurs dans les domaines maritime, de la navigation int\u00e9rieure, du transport ferroviaire et routier offrent des aper\u00e7us pratiques que les ports peuvent imm\u00e9diatement mettre en \u0153uvre pour soutenir la transition vers des op\u00e9rations plus respectueuses de l&#8217;environnement.<\/p>\n<h3>Mise en \u0153uvre des innovations dans la pratique<\/h3>\n<p>Les partenaires du projet Alphatron Marine, Argonics et Argonav int\u00e9greront des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de cette d\u00e9monstration dans leurs produits d&#8217;assistance pour les bateaux int\u00e9rieurs. Le argoPositionPilot est d\u00e9j\u00e0 disponible pour les navires avec h\u00e9lice et gouvernail fixes, tandis que le argoRadarPilot affichera les intentions et disposera d&#8217;un syst\u00e8me d&#8217;\u00e9vitement des collisions.<\/p>\n<p>MAGPIE (sMArt Green Ports as Integrated Efficient multimodal hubs) est un projet d&#8217;innovation europ\u00e9en visant \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la transition vers des ports climatiquement neutres. Coordonn\u00e9 par l&#8217;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Rotterdam et cofinanc\u00e9 par l&#8217;Union europ\u00e9enne, MAGPIE regroupe 45 partenaires pour d\u00e9velopper, tester et mettre \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle des innovations dans les domaines de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie propre, de la num\u00e9risation et de la logistique durable.
