Elle pr\u00e9voit de d\u00e9passer les objectifs de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de l&#8217;Organisation maritime internationale (OMI) et de l&#8217;Union europ\u00e9enne (UE) d&#8217;ici 2030. Cela sera soutenu par l&#8217;introduction de BioLNG, qui devrait am\u00e9liorer encore la performance environnementale de la flotte.<\/p>\n<p>En 2016, UECC a livr\u00e9 les deux premiers transporteurs de voitures et de camions \u00e0 double carburant GNL (PCTC), &#8222;Auto Eco&#8220; et &#8222;Auto Energy&#8220;. Ces navires, construits dans le chantier naval chinois NACKS, ont \u00e9tabli de nouvelles normes pour le transport maritime \u00e9cologique dans le commerce RoRo europ\u00e9en \u00e0 courte distance, selon UECC. Au cours des ann\u00e9es suivantes, UECC a \u00e9largi sa flotte avec trois autres PCTC hybrides \u00e0 batterie multi-carburants GNL, mis en service en 2021. Ces nouveaux b\u00e2timents, &#8222;Auto Achieve&#8220;, &#8222;Auto Aspire&#8220; et &#8222;Auto Advance&#8220;, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9s dans le chantier naval de Jiangnan.<\/p>\n<h3>Strat\u00e9gie de durabilit\u00e9 et investissements futurs<\/h3>\n<p>La livraison de quatre autres PCTC hybrides \u00e0 batterie multi-carburants GNL est pr\u00e9vue en 2028 \u00e0 partir du chantier naval China Merchants Jinling \u00e0 Nanjing. L&#8217;entreprise suit, selon ses propres dires, une strat\u00e9gie qui int\u00e8gre la technologie GNL avec des caract\u00e9ristiques d&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique pour r\u00e9aliser des \u00e9conomies d&#8217;\u00e9missions et atteindre les objectifs de z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Glenn Edvardsen, PDG de UECC, l&#8217;entreprise a continuellement r\u00e9duit l&#8217;empreinte carbone de ses op\u00e9rations au cours des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des mesures proactives. Cela s&#8217;est av\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00eatre un avantage concurrentiel, notamment depuis l&#8217;introduction de la r\u00e9glementation sur la tarification du carbone. Les investissements dans de nouveaux b\u00e2timents ont \u00e9galement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l&#8217;exposition au syst\u00e8me d&#8217;\u00e9change de quotas d&#8217;\u00e9mission de l&#8217;UE (EU ETS) et \u00e0 faire fonctionner la flotte avec un surplus de conformit\u00e9 sous FuelEU Maritime. Cela permet \u00e0 UECC d&#8217;\u00e9viter des surtaxes tout en cr\u00e9ant des potentiels de revenus gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mise en commun.<\/p>\n<h3>Progr\u00e8s en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions<\/h3>\n<p>UECC s&#8217;est fix\u00e9 pour objectif de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de 45 % d&#8217;ici 2030 par rapport \u00e0 2014, ce qui correspond \u00e0 environ 186 600 t de CO\u2082. L&#8217;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, l&#8217;entreprise a enregistr\u00e9 une r\u00e9duction de pr\u00e8s de 154 500 t de CO\u2082, repr\u00e9sentant une am\u00e9lioration par rapport aux 3 200 t en 2017. De plus, UECC a avanc\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;un r\u00e9seau de ravitaillement pour promouvoir la demande de BioLNG. Un accord de fourniture correspondant avec Titan Clean Fuels pour le ravitaillement en LBM au port de Rotterdam a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 pour desservir le principal r\u00e9seau commercial nord-sud de l&#8217;entreprise sous le slogan &#8222;Sail for Change&#8220;.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8222;Nous avons efficacement utilis\u00e9 la technologie GNL et la large disponibilit\u00e9 du carburant
