Environ 50 % de cette flotte est constitu\u00e9e des s\u00e9ries ATR72-200\/210\/500 et -600, qui affichent une capacit\u00e9 de 9 t. Selon IBA Insight, 33 avions ATR42-300F\/320F sont en service, se distinguant par de longues dur\u00e9es d&#8217;exploitation et un r\u00e9seau mondial solide. La flotte des avions de fret SAAB340A\/B\/BPLUS comprend 60 appareils, dont la dur\u00e9e de vie a \u00e9t\u00e9 prolong\u00e9e \u00e0 80 000 heures de vol, ce qui, selon IBA, permet une utilisation \u00e0 long terme de ces types. <a href=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/2026\/03\/26\/saab-2000-faa-approves-cargo-conversion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">De plus, l&#8217;EASA a approuv\u00e9 le mod\u00e8le de fret SAAB 2000<\/a>, IBA estimant qu&#8217;environ 10 SAAB2000 seront convertis en avions de fret.<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9veloppement du march\u00e9 et possibilit\u00e9s de conversion<\/h3>\n<p>Un petit nombre d&#8217;avions de fret Fokker 50F convertis est toujours en service. Les options de remplacement les plus r\u00e9alistes sont des ATR72 d&#8217;occasion. Il existe \u00e9galement une demande pour des conversions d&#8217;avions de fret Dash 8-100. L&#8217;\u00e2ge du programme ne constitue pas un obstacle, notamment en raison du programme de service prolong\u00e9 (ESP), qui permet jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 160 000 cycles. De Havilland propose un package de fret simplifi\u00e9 pour le Dash 8\/Q300. Un Embraer 190AR-F avec une capacit\u00e9 de 13,5 t est en service chez Bridges Air Cargo. Cependant, la demande pour ces mod\u00e8les est tr\u00e8s faible, ce que IBA attribue \u00e0 des co\u00fbts de conversion et d&#8217;exploitation relativement \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h3>Valeurs du march\u00e9 et taux de location<\/h3>\n<p>IBA a fourni une estimation des valeurs du march\u00e9 et des taux de location pour une s\u00e9lection de mod\u00e8les. Des co\u00fbts d&#8217;entretien \u00e9lev\u00e9s et une offre limit\u00e9e ont maintenu les valeurs stables. Les taux de location ne sont pas aussi dynamiques en raison d&#8217;une demande sporadique dans le secteur du fret et d&#8217;un march\u00e9 passager fort, o\u00f9 les bailleurs pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent souvent des op\u00e9rateurs plus stables.<\/p>\n<h3>Perspectives d&#8217;avenir pour les avions de fret r\u00e9gionaux<\/h3>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 leur position de niche, les avions turbopropulseurs jouent un r\u00f4le crucial et continueront de le faire \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir, notamment sur les routes o\u00f9 les co\u00fbts plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s ou la capacit\u00e9 des jets plus grands ne peuvent pas \u00eatre justifi\u00e9s. La famille ATR72 devrait dominer ce segment, soutenue par des services mondiaux \u00e9tendus, des programmes de conversion r\u00e9ussis et un potentiel de trafic passager fort. Avec une taille de flotte actuelle de seulement 41 unit\u00e9s, le secteur des jets de fret r\u00e9gionaux semble encore plus sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9. Bien qu&#8217;IBA s&#8217;attende \u00e0 d&#8217;autres conversions de CRJ200PF\/SF, cela ne sera que dans une mesure limit\u00e9e. La demande pour l&#8217;Embraer 190AR-F est d\u00e9cevante, avec seulement un appareil en service.
