(&#8222;K&#8220; LINE) a r\u00e9cemment sign\u00e9 des contrats avec la China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. pour construire quatre transporteurs de voitures pouvant fonctionner au GNL (gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9). Ces navires, ayant une capacit\u00e9 de 1 380 v\u00e9hicules, sont destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la &#8222;K&#8220; Line European Sea Highway Services GmbH (KESS), la filiale europ\u00e9enne de &#8222;K&#8220; LINE, comme l&#8217;indique l&#8217;entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>Les transporteurs de voitures sont con\u00e7us selon &#8222;K&#8220; LINE pour le transport maritime court en Europe et visent \u00e0 faciliter le transport de petites cargaisons. Une caract\u00e9ristique des navires est leur adaptation aux restrictions de taille impos\u00e9es par certains ports europ\u00e9ens pour les v\u00e9hicules import\u00e9s. &#8222;K&#8220; LINE s&#8217;attend \u00e0 ce que les sp\u00e9cifications techniques des navires conf\u00e8rent \u00e0 KESS un avantage concurrentiel sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en du transport maritime court.<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9tails techniques et aspects environnementaux<\/h3>\n<p>Les navires seront \u00e9quip\u00e9s de rampes arri\u00e8re droites offrant une capacit\u00e9 de chargement de 60 tonnes. Cela permettra \u00e0 KESS de transporter non seulement des voitures particuli\u00e8res, mais aussi des cargaisons lourdes et surdimensionn\u00e9es. Un autre aspect des nouveaux navires est l&#8217;utilisation de GNL comme carburant pour la propulsion \u00e0 double carburant. Cela devrait r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone (CO2) de 25 % \u00e0 30 % et diminuer presque compl\u00e8tement les \u00e9missions d&#8217;oxydes de soufre (SOx), qui contribuent \u00e0 la pollution de l&#8217;air, par rapport aux navires conventionnels utilisant du fioul lourd. De plus, &#8222;K&#8220; LINE pr\u00e9voit, selon ses propres d\u00e9clarations, de continuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre dans l&#8217;ensemble du groupe en
