Cet avion est le premier de douze appareils command\u00e9s par Qantas. Le vol a dur\u00e9 trois heures et 43 minutes, atteignant une altitude de plus de 12 500 m. \u00c0 bord se trouvait une \u00e9quipe de test sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e d&#8217;Airbus.<\/p>\n<p>La A350-1000ULR a \u00e9t\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7ue pour Qantas Airways afin de permettre pour la premi\u00e8re fois des vols directs entre Sydney et Londres. La distance est d&#8217;environ 18 500 km, avec des temps de vol pouvant atteindre 22 heures. Cela est rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9gration d&#8217;un r\u00e9servoir central de queue suppl\u00e9mentaire (RCT) dans la structure de l&#8217;avion, ce qui augmente l&#8217;autonomie de 1 000 milles nautiques. Cela n&#8217;est possible qu&#8217;avec des r\u00e9ductions simultan\u00e9es de la capacit\u00e9 de fret, qui dans la version normale A350-1000 comprend tout de m\u00eame 44 positions pour des conteneurs LD3 (ou 14 palettes standard).<\/p>\n<h3>Vols d&#8217;essai et certification<\/h3>\n<p>Lors du premier vol, l&#8217;\u00e9quipage a effectu\u00e9 des tests de performance g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l&#8217;avion et a test\u00e9 la nouvelle architecture du syst\u00e8me de carburant. Ce vol marque le d\u00e9but d&#8217;une campagne de test de deux mois pour la certification des modifications. De plus, un nouveau syst\u00e8me de refroidissement pour la cuisine \u00e0 bord sera certifi\u00e9, comprenant des unit\u00e9s de refroidissement plus l\u00e9g\u00e8res et plus efficaces pour les tr\u00e8s longs vols. La ventilation et le contr\u00f4le de la temp\u00e9rature de la cabine seront \u00e9galement test\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re approfondie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l&#8217;issue de la campagne de test, l&#8217;avion MSN 707 sera \u00e9quip\u00e9 selon les sp\u00e9cifications commerciales de Qantas. Le deuxi\u00e8me A350-1000ULR, produit pour Qantas et dont la livraison est pr\u00e9vue pour avril 2027, est d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans un stade avanc\u00e9 de l&#8217;assemblage final et sera sorti de la peinture dans les jours \u00e0 venir. Ensuite, l&#8217;am\u00e9nagement de la cabine premium avec quatre classes sera finalis\u00e9 et les moteurs seront install\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La A350-1000ULR est la quatri\u00e8me variante passagers de la famille A350, qui comprend d\u00e9j\u00e0 les mod\u00e8les A350-900, A350-900ULR et A350-1000. Ces avions ont \u00e9tabli de nouvelles normes en mati\u00e8re de vol long-courrier, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction significative de la consommation de carburant et des \u00e9missions de carbone, ainsi qu&#8217;\u00e0 un haut niveau de confort pour les passagers.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, la flotte de passagers sera bient\u00f4t compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par le nouveau cargo A350F, qui est \u00e9galement en cours de d\u00e9veloppement chez Airbus et dont le premier vol est pr\u00e9vu plus tard cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 fin avril 2026, la famille A350 avait re\u00e7u un total de 1 579 commandes de 68 clients, avec plus de 700 avions en service aupr\u00e8s de 41 op\u00e9rateurs dans le monde, principalement sur des vols long-courriers.<\/p>\n<p>Qantas a command\u00e9 12 A350-1000ULR dans le cadre du projet Sunrise, qui vise \u00e0 surmonter l&#8217;un des derniers d\u00e9fis du transport a\u00e9rien direct depuis l&#8217;Australie. De plus, la compagnie a\u00e9rienne a \u00e9galement command\u00e9 12 A350-1000 standard pour de futures op\u00e9rations dans son r\u00e9seau long-courrier.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
