Cette liaison, qui a commenc\u00e9 ses op\u00e9rations le 2 avril 2023, desservait chaque semaine la route de Stuttgart \u00e0 Birmingham, Alabama. Le Boeing 747-800F a depuis transport\u00e9 environ 14 000 t de fret.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plus de trois ans de services r\u00e9guliers, un Boeing 747-8 F d&#8217;Atlas Air, qui vole pour le compte de l&#8217;entreprise de logistique K\u00fchne + Nagel, a atterri pour la derni\u00e8re fois de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9guli\u00e8re \u00e0 Stuttgart le 31 mai 2026. Le prestataire logistique a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de traiter la liaison \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir via l&#8217;a\u00e9roport de Francfort.<\/p>\n<p>Le Boeing 747-8 F, portant les immatriculations N862GT et N863GT, fait partie des derniers de son esp\u00e8ce, car la production de ce mod\u00e8le a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9e en f\u00e9vrier 2022. Le Jumbo Jet \u00e9tait remarquable non seulement en raison de sa taille, mais aussi parce qu&#8217;il \u00e9tait souvent l&#8217;un des derniers exemplaires jamais construits \u00e0 atterrir en Bade-Wurtemberg.<\/p>\n<p>Le transfert des vols vers Francfort devrait avoir des r\u00e9percussions sur la logistique et le transport de fret dans la r\u00e9gion, Stuttgart perdant d\u00e9sormais un
