Pour ce projet pilote, environ 50 conteneurs d&#8217;\u00e9quipement de course ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transport\u00e9s sur pr\u00e8s de 2 000 km de Miami FL (\u00c9tats-Unis) \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (Canada). Environ deux tiers des marchandises habituellement transport\u00e9es par camion sur cet itin\u00e9raire ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9s sur rail.<\/p>\n<p>La livraison comprenait pas moins de 46 conteneurs High-Cube ainsi que quatre TEU. Selon DHL, cela a permis de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions sans compromettre le calendrier serr\u00e9 de la s\u00e9rie de courses. Pendant le transport, les conteneurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 surveill\u00e9s avec des dispositifs de suivi et des capteurs de vibration pour garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et l&#8217;arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 temps.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet fait partie de la strat\u00e9gie conjointe de DHL et de la Formule 1 visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions globales. En plus du transport ferroviaire, le prestataire logistique utilise d\u00e9j\u00e0 des carburants d&#8217;aviation durables, des camions fonctionnant au biocarburant et une planification des itin\u00e9raires optimis\u00e9e.
