Cette d\u00e9cision s&#8217;inscrit dans les efforts continus de l&#8217;entreprise pour optimiser le flux logistique afin de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions, d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 des co\u00fbts et de renforcer la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Auparavant, SCA avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 ajust\u00e9 le trafic RoRo en Su\u00e8de pour permettre aux navires de naviguer plus lentement, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 une r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de 40 % par tonne transport\u00e9e et par kilom\u00e8tre. Avec la nouvelle route vers Vlissingen, cette approche se poursuit. Magnus Svensson, Vice-Pr\u00e9sident Senior Sourcing &amp; Logistics, explique : \u00ab Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un appel portuaire court et simple pour nos navires, ce qui signifie que nous pouvons \u00e9conomiser quelques heures par voyage. C&#8217;est une autre \u00e9tape pour rendre l&#8217;exp\u00e9dition plus efficace et r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions, ce qui am\u00e9liore finalement notre structure de co\u00fbts. Nous sommes convaincus que nous pouvons encore augmenter notre d\u00e9j\u00e0 haute fiabilit\u00e9 de livraison. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>En plus du d\u00e9chargement de camions et de p\u00e2te \u00e0 papier, SCA chargera \u00e9galement des fibres recycl\u00e9es, des marchandises g\u00e9n\u00e9rales et des cargaisons RoRo \u00e0 Vlissingen. L&#8217;entreprise estime qu&#8217;environ 400 000 \u00e0 450 000 tonnes de marchandises seront trait\u00e9es chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 Vlissingen.<\/p>\n<p>Le partenaire logistique de SCA \u00e0 Vlissingen sera Verbrugge, qui dispose du plus grand centre de p\u00e2te \u00e0 papier en Europe et poss\u00e8de une vaste exp\u00e9rience dans la gestion des camions dans les terminaux voisins. Magnus Svensson souligne : \u00ab Il existe de bonnes liaisons de transport par route et par rail, ainsi que la possibilit\u00e9 de combiner des bateaux int\u00e9rieurs avec d&#8217;autres exp\u00e9diteurs pour permettre l&#8217;utilisation de bateaux int\u00e9rieurs plus grands et plus rentables.
