L&#8217;op\u00e9rateur d&#8217;infrastructure Trim (Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager) a conclu des \u00ab Rail Access Agreements \u00bb avec les onze nouvelles entreprises ferroviaires autoris\u00e9es. Cela porte le nombre d&#8217;op\u00e9rateurs actifs sur le r\u00e9seau ferroviaire national de un \u00e0 douze entreprises.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les nouveaux fournisseurs figurent Grindrod, ARC South Africa, Menar Ports &amp; Rail et Sharp Logistics. Ils transporteront des marchandises telles que le charbon, le mangan\u00e8se, des conteneurs, des carburants et des cargaisons g\u00e9n\u00e9rales. Selon Trim, cela pourrait initialement g\u00e9n\u00e9rer 24 millions de tonnes de capacit\u00e9 de fret suppl\u00e9mentaire. Dans un d\u00e9lai de cinq ans, une expansion \u00e0 52 millions de tonnes est envisageable.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, un nouveau processus pour l&#8217;attribution \u00e0 court terme de sillons a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit fin 2025. Cela devrait permettre une planification plus flexible des transports. Un premier projet concerne un service de courte distance entre Cato Ridge et Durban pour all\u00e9ger le trafic routier dans la zone portuaire.
