L&#8217;\u00ab European Freight Efficiency Index \u00bb intitul\u00e9 \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/insights.geotab.com\/EUUrbanFreightEfficiencyIndex-EN\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Cost of Standing Still<\/a> \u00bb montre que Berlin, avec une note de 61 sur 100, pr\u00e9sente la plus haute efficacit\u00e9, tandis que Madrid, avec seulement 25 points, se classe en bas de l&#8217;\u00e9chelle. Cela repr\u00e9sente une diff\u00e9rence de performance de 144 % entre les meilleures et les pires villes.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;\u00e9tude souligne que des millions de v\u00e9hicules circulent chaque jour dans les villes europ\u00e9ennes pour transporter des biens essentiels tels que des aliments, des m\u00e9dicaments et des mat\u00e9riaux. Cependant, l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 de ces transports varie consid\u00e9rablement selon la ville. Le rapport indique que m\u00eame avec des flottes de v\u00e9hicules identiques, l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 d\u00e9pend fortement de l&#8217;infrastructure urbaine et des conditions de circulation locales.<\/p>\n<h3>Conditions de circulation vari\u00e9es et leurs impacts<\/h3>\n<p>Berlin b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&#8217;une structure urbaine polycentrique qui r\u00e9partit le trafic sur plusieurs itin\u00e9raires, permettant ainsi un flux de circulation stable. En revanche, Madrid souffre d&#8217;une forte propension aux embouteillages, ce qui a un impact n\u00e9gatif sur l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9. Amsterdam suit de pr\u00e8s Berlin avec 59 points, tandis que Dublin (49) et Rome (48) affichent une efficacit\u00e9 moyenne. Paris (37) et Londres (29) se situent dans une cat\u00e9gorie o\u00f9 les conditions de circulation affectent n\u00e9gativement l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 des flottes.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;analyse montre que non seulement le volume de circulation, mais aussi la pr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 du flux de trafic sont d\u00e9terminants pour l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9. Dans des villes comme Londres, Paris et Madrid, l&#8217;impr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 du trafic constitue un probl\u00e8me central. Cette impr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 entra\u00eene un \u00ab co\u00fbt structurel \u00bb qui se manifeste par des temps d&#8217;attente suppl\u00e9mentaires et des fen\u00eatres de livraison inefficaces.<\/p>\n<p>Edward Kulperger, Vice-Pr\u00e9sident Senior EMEA chez Geotab, explique : \u00ab L&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 du transport de marchandises urbain a souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9e uniquement \u00e0 travers la charge de trafic. Cet indice montre que le comportement du trafic repr\u00e9sente un probl\u00e8me plus profond. Dans les villes les plus efficaces, le mouvement est constant et pr\u00e9visible, tandis que dans les villes les moins efficaces, il est fragment\u00e9, ce qui a des r\u00e9percussions directes sur les co\u00fbts et les \u00e9missions. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h3>M\u00e9thodologie de l&#8217;indice<\/h3>\n<p>L&#8217;European Urban Freight Efficiency Index \u00e9value chaque ville sur une \u00e9chelle de 0 \u00e0 100, bas\u00e9e sur deux dimensions : le flux de trafic et les co\u00fbts des embouteillages. Le flux de trafic repr\u00e9sente 75 % de l&#8217;\u00e9valuation et prend en compte la charge d&#8217;embouteillage, le nombre d&#8217;heures de circulation fluide et la pr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 des temps de trajet. Les co\u00fbts des embouteillages constituent les 25 % restants et mesurent l&#8217;immobilisation des v\u00e9hicules comme indicateur des d\u00e9chets g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par le syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es pour l&#8217;indice proviennent de l&#8217;ann\u00e9e 2025 et sont bas\u00e9es sur des informations provenant des v\u00e9hicules connect\u00e9s de Geotab dans sept villes : Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin, Rome, Paris, Londres et Madrid.
