Ces d\u00e9veloppements repr\u00e9sentent un d\u00e9fi pour le march\u00e9 de l&#8217;assurance, qui ne peut plus ignorer les risques th\u00e9oriques.<\/p>\n<p>Patrizia Kern-Ferretti, Chief Insurance Officer de Breeze, souligne que le march\u00e9 des assurances maritimes a montr\u00e9 une certaine r\u00e9silience, mais n&#8217;est pas optimal face aux exigences actuelles. \u00ab Les conditions de guerre dans l&#8217;assurance maritime ont souvent \u00e9volu\u00e9 apr\u00e8s des crises, et le march\u00e9 a maintenant l&#8217;opportunit\u00e9 d&#8217;aborder les incertitudes d&#8217;aujourd&#8217;hui avant qu&#8217;elles ne conduisent \u00e0 des litiges \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir \u00bb, explique Kern-Ferretti.<\/p>\n<p>Un probl\u00e8me central est que les acheteurs d&#8217;assurances fret sont moins bien servis que les clients qui souscrivent des assurances navires sur plusieurs aspects cl\u00e9s. Alors que la couverture de guerre pour les navires peut \u00eatre r\u00e9sili\u00e9e avec un pr\u00e9avis de sept jours d\u00e8s que les marchandises sont en transit, la couverture de guerre fret ne peut pas \u00eatre annul\u00e9e. Bien que cette r\u00e9glementation offre une protection critique aux propri\u00e9taires de fret, elle a aussi ses limites. Par exemple, la couverture de guerre fret peut expirer lors du d\u00e9chargement ou dans les 15 jours suivant l&#8217;arriv\u00e9e au port. De plus, les formulations standard excluent souvent la frustration du voyage, et il n&#8217;existe pas d&#8217;\u00e9quivalent direct \u00e0 la clause de d\u00e9tention pour les navires, laissant les propri\u00e9taires de fret dans une situation incertaine.<\/p>\n<p>Breeze avertit que ces lacunes deviennent de plus en plus significatives, car les conflits entra\u00eenent l&#8217;\u00e9vitement de routes, des blocages et des retards de transport, transformant des questions techniques d&#8217;assurance en probl\u00e8mes de risque pratiques pour les exp\u00e9diteurs, les prestataires logistiques et les exp\u00e9diteurs. \u00ab Ce n&#8217;est pas une raison d&#8217;alerte, mais nous avons besoin de plus de clart\u00e9, d&#8217;une meilleure conception des produits et d&#8217;un langage de police qui refl\u00e8te l&#8217;environnement de risque actuel \u00bb, ajoute Kern-Ferretti.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;entreprise appelle \u00e0 une discussion plus large sur la couverture de guerre fret et \u00e0 une innovation dans le domaine de l&#8217;assurance, rendant la protection plus compr\u00e9hensible, accessible et applicable pour les routes commerciales expos\u00e9es. Kern-Ferretti voit une opportunit\u00e9 pour le march\u00e9 de moderniser la couverture de guerre fret avant que des perturbations persistantes ne mettent \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9preuve le langage des
