Cette initiative vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les temps de transit pour les clients et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l&#8217;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 de nouveaux march\u00e9s, selon CPKC.<\/p>\n<h3>Temps de transit et options<\/h3>\n<p>Le service &#8222;SMX&#8220; mis \u00e0 jour offre, selon l&#8217;entreprise, des liaisons plus rapides entre les march\u00e9s du sud-est des \u00c9tats-Unis, notamment Atlanta, Charlotte et le centre de la Floride, ainsi que des destinations au Texas et au Mexique, comme Dallas et Monterrey. Les nouveaux temps de transit sont comp\u00e9titifs par rapport \u00e0 ceux du transport routier. Les am\u00e9liorations devraient permettre de r\u00e9duire le temps de trajet jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 un jour entre Atlanta et Dallas, ainsi que d&#8217;environ 2,5 jours entre Atlanta et le centre du Mexique.<\/p>\n<p>Ces optimisations sont, selon CPCK, le r\u00e9sultat d&#8217;investissements dans l&#8217;infrastructure, en particulier dans les voies, les ponts et les installations de signalisation de l&#8217;ancienne Meridian &amp; Bigbee Railroad (MNBR).
