En arri\u00e8re-plan se trouve une consultation r\u00e9cente du minist\u00e8re britannique des Transports (DfT), qui vise \u00e0 introduire de nouvelles technologies de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le cadre du syst\u00e8me de type d&#8217;homologation au Royaume-Uni, comme le rapporte Durite.<\/p>\n<h3>Extension des exigences de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p>Le minist\u00e8re examine actuellement, selon l&#8217;entreprise, des propositions pour la mise en \u0153uvre de jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 18 technologies de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, s&#8217;inspirant des r\u00e9glementations de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 europ\u00e9ennes. Ces r\u00e9glementations, connues sous le nom de GSR2, comprennent un catalogue d&#8217;exigences visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules. Parmi les aspects centraux figurent notamment une meilleure visibilit\u00e9 pour les conducteurs, des syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;\u00e9vitement de collision, des alertes de sortie de voie, des r\u00e9gulations de vitesse intelligentes ainsi que des technologies de surveillance du comportement de conduite.<\/p>\n<p>Le GSR2 s&#8217;applique dans l&#8217;UE \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents types de v\u00e9hicules, y compris les voitures particuli\u00e8res, les fourgonnettes, les bus et les poids lourds. Si le Royaume-Uni devait mettre en \u0153uvre des exigences similaires, selon Durite, les camions N2 et N3 seraient \u00e9galement tenus de respecter les nouvelles normes en mati\u00e8re de
