(&#8222;K&#8220; LINE) a sign\u00e9 un accord pour l&#8217;approvisionnement \u00e0 long terme en bio-GNL. Cette mesure vise \u00e0 permettre l&#8217;utilisation de bio-GNL (gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 biologique) pour la flotte de transporteurs automobiles fonctionnant au GNL. L&#8217;accord pourrait permettre \u00e0 &#8222;K&#8220; LINE de r\u00e9duire ses \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre d&#8217;environ 60 800 t par an, selon l&#8217;entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>Le bio-GNL constitue une alternative au gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 (GNL) conventionnel. Le carburant est produit \u00e0 partir de d\u00e9chets organiques tels que les excr\u00e9ments d&#8217;animaux d&#8217;\u00e9levage et les r\u00e9sidus alimentaires. &#8222;K&#8220; LINE indique que les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre sur l&#8217;ensemble du cycle de vie du bio-GNL, de la production \u00e0 l&#8217;utilisation, sont inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles des carburants conventionnels. Un autre avantage du bio-GNL est qu&#8217;il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans les navires fonctionnant au GNL existants sans modifications.<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9cision de &#8222;K&#8220; LINE d&#8217;utiliser du bio-GNL s&#8217;inscrit dans une strat\u00e9gie plus large visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l&#8217;impact environnemental du transport maritime, avec pour objectif d&#8217;atteindre des <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\u00e9missions nettes de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre nulles d&#8217;ici 2050<\/span>.
