Cette demande intervient dans le contexte d&#8217;une crise mondiale des cha\u00eenes d&#8217;approvisionnement et de la hausse des prix du p\u00e9trole. L&#8217;entreprise DP World, qui exploite plusieurs terminaux \u00e0 conteneurs en Australie et poursuit un vaste programme d&#8217;automatisation et d&#8217;IA, est particuli\u00e8rement vis\u00e9e, ce programme \u00e9tant promu par les propri\u00e9taires \u00e9trangers de l&#8217;entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>DP World g\u00e8re des terminaux \u00e0 Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne et Fremantle, s&#8217;assurant ainsi une position dominante sur le march\u00e9 australien des terminaux \u00e0 conteneurs. La direction australienne de l&#8217;entreprise suit une agenda d&#8217;impl\u00e9mentation de l&#8217;IA et de l&#8217;automatisation, initi\u00e9e par l&#8217;ancien PDG mondial Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.<\/p>\n<p>Selon la MUA, DP World a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es des centaines de millions de dollars provenant des entreprises et des consommateurs australiens, mais a peu pay\u00e9 d&#8217;imp\u00f4ts en Australie. Pendant plus d&#8217;une d\u00e9cennie, l&#8217;entreprise n&#8217;a pas pay\u00e9 d&#8217;imp\u00f4t sur les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s, tandis que les salaires des travailleurs et les imp\u00f4ts associ\u00e9s, qui devraient atteindre presque 50 millions de dollars am\u00e9ricains en 2025, constituaient les principales contributions \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9conomie du pays.<\/p>\n<h3>Rapport sur l&#8217;automatisation et les pertes d&#8217;emplois<\/h3>\n<p>En collaboration avec le Centre for International Corporate Tax Accountability and Research (Cictar), la MUA a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au parlement australien le <a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/636a46c59a62847f542195d2\/t\/69bfa4856f5ac0743eeadbe8\/1774167173096\/MUA_DP_28p_web+version.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rapport \u00ab Pertes d&#8217;emplois et transfert de b\u00e9n\u00e9fices chez DP World : Comment l&#8217;automatisation par IA menace le bien-\u00eatre \u00e9conomique de l&#8217;Australie \u00bb<\/a>. Le rapport d\u00e9crit comment Dubai Ports pr\u00e9voit d&#8217;introduire une automatisation par IA \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle en Australie, ce qui pourrait mettre en danger jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 1 000 emplois, soit plus de 60 % de la main-d&#8217;\u0153uvre. L&#8217;automatisation propos\u00e9e remplacerait des emplois qualifi\u00e9s et syndiqu\u00e9s par des v\u00e9hicules sans conducteur et des grues t\u00e9l\u00e9command\u00e9es. Cette initiative est en contradiction avec le Plan national sur l&#8217;IA du gouvernement australien, qui pr\u00e9voit une consultation des travailleurs et des syndicats.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport souligne que l&#8217;objectif principal de l&#8217;automatisation n&#8217;est pas d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 de la cha\u00eene d&#8217;approvisionnement, mais de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de main-d&#8217;\u0153uvre et d&#8217;augmenter les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices. Des frais plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s, qui sont r\u00e9percut\u00e9s sur les entreprises et les consommateurs, contribuent \u00e0 l&#8217;inflation.<\/p>\n<p>La MUA a exig\u00e9 un certain nombre de mesures pour s\u00e9curiser la cha\u00eene d&#8217;approvisionnement australienne afin de prot\u00e9ger la communaut\u00e9 et l&#8217;\u00e9conomie contre les chocs mondiaux. Ces demandes sont particuli\u00e8rement pertinentes compte tenu de la r\u00e9cente crise p\u00e9troli\u00e8re, d\u00e9clench\u00e9e par des tensions g\u00e9opolitiques.<\/p>\n<p>Les recommandations du rapport incluent notamment :<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Une surveillance stricte et une transparence pour les syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;IA sur le lieu de travail<br \/>\n&#8211; La protection des donn\u00e9es des travailleurs et une interdiction des pratiques de surveillance invasives<br \/>\n&#8211; La priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l&#8217;emploi et \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9r\u00eat public plut\u00f4t qu&#8217;aux b\u00e9n\u00e9fices des entreprises<br \/>\n&#8211; L&#8217;assurance de droits de n\u00e9gociation complets et la protection des luttes
