Cela ressort d&#8217;un rapport r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9 par UL Standards &amp; Engagement (ULSE). L&#8217;augmentation des incidents est li\u00e9e \u00e0 la demande croissante de produits aliment\u00e9s par batterie.<\/p>\n<p>Les conclusions reposent sur des donn\u00e9es provenant de la base de donn\u00e9es Thermal Runaway Incident Program d&#8217;ULSE, ainsi que sur des entretiens et des groupes de discussion men\u00e9s avec divers acteurs de l&#8217;industrie du fret a\u00e9rien. Ces faiblesses syst\u00e9miques doivent \u00eatre mieux abord\u00e9es pour inverser cette tendance pr\u00e9occupante. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h3>Causes, risques et recommandations<\/h3>\n<p>Le rapport identifie plusieurs facteurs cl\u00e9s contribuant \u00e0 l&#8217;augmentation des incidents. D&#8217;une part, la qualit\u00e9 des batteries et le comportement des exp\u00e9diteurs sont des facteurs de risque d\u00e9cisifs. Les petits exp\u00e9diteurs manquent souvent de l&#8217;expertise n\u00e9cessaire pour manipuler des mati\u00e8res dangereuses et comptent sur les prestataires de transport pour d\u00e9tecter les erreurs. Cette supervision insuffisante et l&#8217;application in\u00e9gale des r\u00e9glementations obligent les compagnies a\u00e9riennes de fret \u00e0 g\u00e9rer des risques qu&#8217;elles n&#8217;ont pas caus\u00e9s et qu&#8217;elles ne peuvent souvent pas reconna\u00eetre pleinement.<\/p>\n<p>Les diff\u00e9rences g\u00e9ographiques jouent \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le dans l&#8217;\u00e9valuation des risques. La qualit\u00e9 de la fabrication, la supervision r\u00e9glementaire et l&#8217;application des r\u00e8gles varient consid\u00e9rablement d&#8217;une r\u00e9gion \u00e0 l&#8217;autre. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 des incidents d&#8217;origine connue se produisent dans une poign\u00e9e d&#8217;a\u00e9roports asiatiques, ce qui contribue \u00e0 la perception que les diff\u00e9rences g\u00e9ographiques aggravent d&#8217;autres risques tels que la qualit\u00e9 des batteries et le comportement des exp\u00e9diteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport propose trois recommandations cl\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le transport a\u00e9rien de fret : Premi\u00e8rement, une responsabilit\u00e9 claire et applicable doit \u00eatre \u00e9tablie tout au long de la cha\u00eene d&#8217;approvisionnement.
