Elle remplace le couplage \u00e0 vis manuel utilis\u00e9 depuis longtemps et automatise le processus de couplage pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. En plus de la connexion m\u00e9canique et pneumatique des wagons de marchandises, qui se fait par des conduites d&#8217;air comprim\u00e9 pour les freins, la CAN permet \u00e9galement le transfert d&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Selon la RCG, celle-ci joue un r\u00f4le actif dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la CAN. Avec le &#8222;train de d\u00e9monstration CAN&#8220;, le syst\u00e8me est test\u00e9 et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 dans le but de le rendre pr\u00eat pour la production en s\u00e9rie. Des tests d&#8217;hiver r\u00e9cents en Autriche ont montr\u00e9, selon la RCG, que la technologie fonctionne de mani\u00e8re fiable m\u00eame dans des conditions climatiques exigeantes. Apr\u00e8s des pr\u00e9parations techniques et l&#8217;int\u00e9gration de diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes de couplage, le &#8222;train de d\u00e9monstration CAN&#8220; a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en service. Ce train d&#8217;essai sert, selon la RCG, \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier l&#8217;interaction entre la m\u00e9canique, l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et le transfert de donn\u00e9es, et \u00e0 garantir que les
