Cela ressort d&#8217;un rapport command\u00e9 par cinq grandes compagnies maritimes, comme l&#8217;a annonc\u00e9 le port de Rotterdam. Les entreprises CMA CGM, Evergreen, Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk et MSC consid\u00e8rent l&#8217;OCCS comme une solution prometteuse pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO\u2082 dans le secteur maritime, notamment en combinaison avec des carburants \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone et sans carbone.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;urgence de d\u00e9velopper des solutions de d\u00e9carbonisation demeure, selon le port de Rotterdam, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s que l&#8217;Organisation maritime internationale (OMI) a report\u00e9 l&#8217;introduction du syst\u00e8me d&#8217;objectifs pour une navigation sans \u00e9missions (NZF). Le rapport de DNV vise \u00e0 fournir des informations sur les possibilit\u00e9s de capture de CO\u2082 \u00e0 bord des navires et met en lumi\u00e8re le potentiel de cette technologie. Le port souligne \u00e9galement la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d&#8217;un cadre l\u00e9gal clair pour favoriser la mise en \u0153uvre et les investissements.<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9veloppement de la cha\u00eene de valeur du CO\u2082<\/h3>\n<p>Le rapport a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9 apr\u00e8s que l&#8217;autorit\u00e9 portuaire de Rotterdam a r\u00e9uni plus de 25 acteurs en 2025 pour soutenir le d\u00e9veloppement de la cha\u00eene de capture et de stockage du CO\u2082. Un aspect central de l&#8217;\u00e9tude est la cha\u00eene de valeur physique, qui comprend le d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;une cha\u00eene de CO\u2082 liquide (LCO\u2082). Dans ce cadre, le CO\u2082 est captur\u00e9 \u00e0 bord des navires, liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9, puis transf\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 des navires dans les ports. Ces navires transportent le CO\u2082 vers des terminaux de stockage temporaires \u00e0 Rotterdam et \u00e0 Singapour, avant qu&#8217;il ne soit dirig\u00e9 vers les sites de stockage d\u00e9finitifs.<\/p>\n<p>Un autre point focal du rapport concerne la r\u00e9duction du CO\u2082 et les opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques dans le secteur en aval. \u00c0 l&#8217;aide du &#8222;mod\u00e8le de cheminement des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre&#8220; de DNV, la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions ainsi que la capacit\u00e9 de manutention de la flotte sont analys\u00e9es.
