La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 flamande des voies navigables (De Vlaamse Waterweg nv) a accord\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;entreprise, en tant que premi\u00e8re compagnie maritime, la permission de piloter le navire de marchandises dangereuses &#8222;Walcheren&#8220; depuis un Centre d&#8217;op\u00e9rations \u00e0 distance (ROC). Cette autorisation est valable pour une dur\u00e9e d&#8217;un an et permet, selon HGK, de r\u00e9duire l&#8217;\u00e9quipage \u00e0 bord.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;autorisation permet de mener la navigation sur les voies navigables \u00e0 l&#8217;est d&#8217;Anvers avec seulement un pilote et un marin, au lieu des deux pilotes pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment requis. Cela fait partie d&#8217;une approche de HGK Shipping pour faire face \u00e0 la p\u00e9nurie de main-d&#8217;\u0153uvre dans le transport fluvial. Steffen Bauer, PDG du groupe HGK, souligne que cette autorisation repr\u00e9sente un progr\u00e8s important pour rendre l&#8217;utilisation du personnel plus efficace.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie fournie par le partenaire de projet SEAFAR a convaincu les autorit\u00e9s lors des phases de test pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, selon l&#8217;entreprise. Lors de la deuxi\u00e8me phase des op\u00e9rations de test, qui se d\u00e9roule d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux Pays-Bas et en Allemagne, les pilotes ont dirig\u00e9 les navires depuis le ROC tout en restant \u00e0 bord. Avec la nouvelle autorisation en Flandre, cela n&#8217;est plus n\u00e9cessaire, car la technologie a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue comme fiable et conforme \u00e0 la l\u00e9gislation.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la troisi\u00e8me phase des op\u00e9rations, l&#8217;op\u00e9rateur du ROC pilotera d\u00e9sormais le navire \u00e0 distance pendant quatre heures. Pendant ce temps, le marin surveillera les op\u00e9rations dans la timonerie, tandis que le deuxi\u00e8me pilote prendra son temps de repos. Cette nouvelle forme d&#8217;exploitation n\u00e9cessite une formation soigneuse et une collaboration \u00e9troite entre les partenaires impliqu\u00e9s pour garantir un d\u00e9roulement sans
