Il existe un risque que ces nouvelles exigences perturbent les processus logistiques en Europe et favorisent un transfert vers le transport routier.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Bruxelles\/Berne) Fin septembre 2025, l&rsquo;OFT a introduit de nouvelles directives pour les trains de marchandises circulant dans le tunnel de base du Gotthard \u2013 y compris des exigences plus strictes concernant le diam\u00e8tre des roues, des contr\u00f4les renforc\u00e9s des roues pour surchauffe ou dommages, ainsi que des inspections techniques des wagons plus syst\u00e9matiques et fr\u00e9quentes.<\/p>\n<p>Ces mesures font suite \u00e0 un grave d\u00e9raillement d&rsquo;un train de marchandises dans le tunnel en ao\u00fbt 2023, qui a caus\u00e9 environ 150 millions de francs suisses de co\u00fbts de r\u00e9paration.<\/p>\n<p>Du point de vue de la Commission europ\u00e9enne, les nouvelles r\u00e8gles \u2013 en particulier si elles sont mises en \u0153uvre t\u00f4t et avec une grande rigueur \u2013 pourraient repr\u00e9senter une \u00ab\u00a0pression s\u00e9v\u00e8re sur un transport de marchandises d\u00e9j\u00e0 vuln\u00e9rable\u00a0\u00bb. Il existe un r\u00e9el risque que les trains \u00e9vitent la Suisse \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir et que le transport routier en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie. L&rsquo;OFT a r\u00e9agi \u00e0 cette critique en reportant la mise en \u0153uvre des inspections techniques des wagons \u00e0 fin 2026 \u2013 dans l&rsquo;espoir d&rsquo;une solution plus \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Des transferts vers la route sont \u00e0 craindre<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Pour le secteur de la logistique et du transport, cela signifie : d\u00e9j\u00e0 aujourd&rsquo;hui, les exigences pour les op\u00e9rateurs augmentent, en particulier dans le transport ferroviaire de marchandises. Ceux qui circulent \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir \u00e0 travers des corridors alpins importants comme le Gotthard doivent repenser leurs strat\u00e9gies de flotte et de maintenance.
