La SBB accueille ces exigences. Cela permettra de r\u00e9duire durablement le risque d&rsquo;accidents dans le transport de marchandises et la SBB pourra continuer \u00e0 transporter tous les wagons de marchandises.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Berne) L&rsquo;accident survenu dans le tunnel de base du Gothard le 10 ao\u00fbt 2023 a \u00e9t\u00e9 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement marquant pour la Suisse et la SBB. Le trafic ferroviaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 longtemps restreint, les dommages s&rsquo;\u00e9levant \u00e0 150 millions de francs. Le rapport final de l&rsquo;Office suisse d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (SUST) a montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une fissure non d\u00e9tect\u00e9e avait conduit \u00e0 la rupture d&rsquo;un disque de roue. Une telle rupture peut se reproduire. Divers quasi-accidents en Europe ont mis en \u00e9vidence les facteurs de risque li\u00e9s aux fissures et aux ruptures potentielles : diam\u00e8tres des roues trop faibles, surchauffe des roues due \u00e0 des patins de frein en mat\u00e9riau composite, intervalles trop longs entre les contr\u00f4les.<\/p>\n<p>Le transport de marchandises par rail est fondamentalement l&rsquo;un des syst\u00e8mes de transport les plus s\u00fbrs. Cependant, l&rsquo;accident a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 un probl\u00e8me syst\u00e9mique. Les probl\u00e8mes syst\u00e9miques ne peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9solus que par des exigences appropri\u00e9es des autorit\u00e9s comp\u00e9tentes en Suisse et en Europe. Au cours des derniers mois, la SBB a particip\u00e9 au dialogue avec le secteur du transport de marchandises et, en collaboration avec les partenaires concern\u00e9s, a travaill\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral des transports (OFROU).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Les exigences de l&rsquo;OFROU r\u00e9duisent le risque d&rsquo;un nouvel accident<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>La SBB accueille les exigences de l&rsquo;OFROU (<a href=\"https:\/\/co.mailing.sbb.ch\/d?p00cdvsi0jsqnq00d000000000000000b07tvcv5n5qlxwmn3l0xpw0q000cb2000000hlpw7n0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voir le communiqu\u00e9 de presse de l&rsquo;OFROU<\/a>). Elles r\u00e9duisent le risque d&rsquo;un nouvel accident. Les exigences doivent \u00eatre respect\u00e9es non seulement par les entreprises ferroviaires (EVU), mais aussi par les entreprises de maintenance des wagons de marchandises.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 est la priorit\u00e9 absolue de la SBB. C&rsquo;est pourquoi la SBB a annonc\u00e9 d\u00e9but juin 2025 qu&rsquo;elle se retirerait du transport de wagons de marchandises \u00e9quip\u00e9s de patins de frein LL (<a href=\"https:\/\/co.mailing.sbb.ch\/d?p00cduvq0jsqnq00d000000000000000b07tvcv5n5qlxwmn3l0xpw0q000cb2000000occl70y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">communiqu\u00e9 de presse \u00ab Rapport SUST : la SBB exige des mesures \u00bb | SBB News<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Les exigences maintenant \u00e9mises par l&rsquo;OFROU sont mises en \u0153uvre par la SBB. Elles permettent \u00e0 la SBB de continuer \u00e0 transporter tous les wagons de marchandises, ind\u00e9pendamment des patins de frein install\u00e9s. Les mesures augmentent durablement la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le transport de marchandises. N\u00e9anmoins, la SBB mise \u00e9galement sur des contr\u00f4les renforc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Ces exigences d\u00e9sormais en vigueur de l&rsquo;OFROU s&rsquo;appliquent \u00e0 toutes les EVU et aux wagons de marchandises qu&rsquo;elles transportent sur le r\u00e9seau ferroviaire suisse. En dehors des fronti\u00e8res nationales, les mesures ont peu d&rsquo;effet. La SBB encourage donc les autorit\u00e9s europ\u00e9ennes \u00e0 adopter les mesures suisses.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, la SBB voit \u00e0 moyen et long terme la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d&rsquo;adapter le droit de la responsabilit\u00e9 dans le transport ferroviaire de marchandises, en particulier en cas de dommages tels que des ruptures de roues.
