L&rsquo;Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral des transports (BAV) a discut\u00e9 avec des repr\u00e9sentants du secteur des mesures possibles pour garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du transport ferroviaire de marchandises. Sur cette base, le BAV prendra des mesures appropri\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Berne) En juin 2025, l&rsquo;Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral des transports (OFT) a publi\u00e9 son rapport sur l&rsquo;accident dans le tunnel de base du Gothard. Ce rapport montre qu&rsquo;il existe un risque syst\u00e9matique de rupture de roues dans le transport ferroviaire de marchandises en raison des nouvelles semelles de frein en mat\u00e9riau composite.<\/p>\n<p>Dans son rapport final sur l&rsquo;accident d&rsquo;un train de marchandises dans le tunnel de base du Gothard en ao\u00fbt 2023, l&rsquo;OFT a constat\u00e9 qu&rsquo;avec les exigences et les directives actuelles concernant les semelles de frein en mat\u00e9riau composite, il existe un risque syst\u00e9matique de rupture de roues pour les wagons de marchandises.<\/p>\n<p>Fin juin, le BAV a invit\u00e9 des repr\u00e9sentants du transport ferroviaire de marchandises en Suisse \u00e0 une premi\u00e8re table ronde pour \u00e9laborer, en dialogue avec le secteur, des mesures visant \u00e0 garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du transport ferroviaire de marchandises \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re des nouvelles connaissances. Le 7 ao\u00fbt, le BAV a invit\u00e9 les repr\u00e9sentants du secteur \u00e0 une deuxi\u00e8me table ronde pour concr\u00e9tiser les mesures.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Diam\u00e8tre minimal de roue plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 et intervalles de maintenance plus fr\u00e9quents<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Sur la base du dialogue avec le secteur et des recommandations que l&rsquo;OFT a formul\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;Agence ferroviaire europ\u00e9enne, et en compl\u00e9ment de divers travaux du secteur, le BAV pr\u00e9voit d\u00e9sormais des mesures d&rsquo;autorit\u00e9. L&rsquo;objectif principal est de prescrire un diam\u00e8tre minimal de roue plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 et des intervalles de maintenance plus fr\u00e9quents pour les wagons de marchandises circulant en Suisse. De plus, le secteur doit s&rsquo;organiser de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ce que l&rsquo;entreprise ferroviaire puisse voir \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir que l&rsquo;intervalle de maintenance pour les wagons \u00e0 transporter est respect\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;entreprise responsable de l&rsquo;entretien est responsable du respect de l&rsquo;intervalle. De plus, les wagons avec des roues surchauff\u00e9es doivent \u00eatre syst\u00e9matiquement retir\u00e9s du service et soumis \u00e0 l&rsquo;entretien.<\/p>\n<p>Ces mesures peuvent \u00eatre mises en \u0153uvre \u00e0 court terme. Selon les connaissances actuelles, elles r\u00e9duisent consid\u00e9rablement le risque de rupture de roues. Le BAV pr\u00e9voit de les mettre en \u0153uvre et de les faire entrer en vigueur d\u00e8s que possible, en tenant compte des contributions du secteur et des discussions lors de la table ronde. Un sujet important \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard est la viabilit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Promouvoir les innovations dans les syst\u00e8mes de freinage<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>D&rsquo;autres mesures \u00e0 court et moyen terme, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 discut\u00e9es avec le secteur, sont en cours d&rsquo;examen. \u00c0 long terme, l&rsquo;influence des semelles de frein en mat\u00e9riau composite sur les roues doit \u00eatre \u00e9tudi\u00e9e plus en profondeur. De plus, les innovations dans les syst\u00e8mes de freinage doivent \u00eatre encourag\u00e9es.
