Des domaines d&rsquo;action et des mesures possibles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 discut\u00e9s pour am\u00e9liorer davantage la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du transport ferroviaire de marchandises.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Berne) La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le transport ferroviaire de marchandises est \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Les chemins de fer, l&rsquo;OFT et les autres acteurs garantissent cela par diverses mesures. Par exemple, les chemins de fer exploitent un dense r\u00e9seau d&rsquo;installations de contr\u00f4le des trains, permettant d&rsquo;arr\u00eater imm\u00e9diatement et de mettre hors service des wagons avec des freins surchauff\u00e9s ou des b\u00e2ches flottantes. L&rsquo;OFT contr\u00f4le chaque ann\u00e9e environ 7000 wagons de marchandises directement sur le r\u00e9seau ferroviaire et collabore \u00e9troitement avec les autorit\u00e9s \u00e9trang\u00e8res dans la surveillance de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Table ronde pour plus de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En particulier en raison des conclusions de l&rsquo;Office suisse d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (SUST) concernant l&rsquo;accident dans le tunnel de base du Gothard en ao\u00fbt 2023 et du caract\u00e8re fortement transfrontalier du transport ferroviaire de marchandises, certaines d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 se posent : le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral souhaite y rem\u00e9dier et, dans son rapport sur le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parlament.ch\/de\/ratsbetrieb\/suche-curia-vista\/geschaeft?AffairId=20253177\">postulat 25.3177<\/a> \u00ab Augmentation de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le transport ferroviaire de marchandises \u00bb, identifier des domaines d&rsquo;action. Dans le cadre de l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration du rapport, l&rsquo;OFT a organis\u00e9 une table ronde avec les acteurs du secteur le 26 juin 2025.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Collaboration internationale importante<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Il existe un consensus dans le secteur selon lequel la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans le transport ferroviaire de marchandises ne peut \u00eatre durablement garantie \u00e0 long terme qu&rsquo;avec une collaboration internationale. Suite \u00e0 l&rsquo;accident dans le tunnel de base du Gothard, la SUST a recommand\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;Agence ferroviaire europ\u00e9enne (ERA) d&rsquo;\u00e9dicter des exigences plus strictes au niveau europ\u00e9en pour l&rsquo;entretien et la maintenance des wagons de marchandises \u00e9quip\u00e9s de semelles de frein en mat\u00e9riau composite (en particulier les semelles LL). Si les mesures internationales ne vont pas assez loin ou ne sont pas mises en \u0153uvre dans un d\u00e9lai raisonnable, la Suisse pourrait prendre d&rsquo;autres mesures.
