Les emballages se d\u00e9placent sur des rouleaux vers des bandes lat\u00e9rales \u00e0 ressort qui les fixent et s&rsquo;adaptent aux plus petites variations de largeur des cartons. Gr\u00e2ce au pr\u00e9-pliage des rabats avant courts, les dommages sont \u00e9vit\u00e9s et la fiabilit\u00e9 du processus d&#8217;emballage est optimis\u00e9e. Pendant le transport \u00e0 travers la machine, les rabats longs sont \u00e9galement abaiss\u00e9s et restent dans cette position jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 leur entr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de scellement.
