Cela doit changer : L&rsquo;introduction \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de l&rsquo;UE d&rsquo;un Couplage Automatique Num\u00e9rique (CAN) sera un nouveau standard syst\u00e8me qui rendra le transport ferroviaire de marchandises beaucoup plus performant et efficace.<\/h5>\n<p>(Mainz) \u00ab Un train de marchandises num\u00e9rique a r\u00e9ussi ses tests pratiques de deux ans \u00bb, explique Dr. Sigrid Nikutta lors de la pr\u00e9sentation du train devant la Commission europ\u00e9enne aujourd&rsquo;hui \u00e0 Bruxelles. \u00ab D\u00e9sormais, les premiers clients du transport ferroviaire de marchandises devraient b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de cette nouvelle technologie. Nos exp\u00e9riences communes seront ensuite int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans la production en s\u00e9rie \u00bb. Ce n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;avec la num\u00e9risation et l&rsquo;automatisation du transport ferroviaire de marchandises que nous pourrons transf\u00e9rer davantage de marchandises de la route vers le rail.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Plus de la moiti\u00e9 des transports de l&rsquo;industrie sid\u00e9rurgique se font par rail. Que ce soit pour l&rsquo;approvisionnement en mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res ou pour l&rsquo;exp\u00e9dition des produits sid\u00e9rurgiques finis, nos entreprises membres d\u00e9pendent d&rsquo;une logistique efficace. Le Couplage Automatique Num\u00e9rique peut devenir un v\u00e9ritable turbo pour le transport ferroviaire de marchandises \u2013 et ainsi un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 pour des cha\u00eenes d&rsquo;approvisionnement performantes et respectueuses du climat \u00bb, d\u00e9clare Kerstin Maria Rippel, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l&rsquo;Association des industries de l&rsquo;acier.<\/p>\n<h5>En collaboration avec d&rsquo;autres chemins de fer europ\u00e9ens<\/h5>\n<p>La DB s&rsquo;engage, en collaboration avec d&rsquo;autres chemins de fer europ\u00e9ens et de nombreux autres acteurs de l&rsquo;industrie ferroviaire, dans le d\u00e9veloppement et l&rsquo;introduction \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle europ\u00e9enne du CAN. La pr\u00e9sentation d&rsquo;un train de marchandises num\u00e9rique est un point central du programme des \u00ab Journ\u00e9es de la connexion europ\u00e9enne \u00bb de la Commission europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 Bruxelles. Politique, chemins de fer et \u00e9conomie discutent cette semaine de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution des syst\u00e8mes de transport europ\u00e9ens. Un accent particulier est mis sur l&rsquo;expansion des dix corridors de transport transeurop\u00e9ens et le renforcement des cha\u00eenes d&rsquo;approvisionnement pour le continent. Dans ce contexte, le financement du Couplage Num\u00e9rique en tant que nouveau standard syst\u00e8me est un point essentiel.<\/p>\n<p>DB Cargo fait circuler environ 20 000 trains de marchandises par semaine \u00e0 travers 17 \u00c9tats membres de l&rsquo;UE, dont 60 % des trajets traversent au moins une fronti\u00e8re. Les wagons de marchandises sont accoupl\u00e9s de l&rsquo;Espagne jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la Scandinavie selon le principe presque bicentenaire d&rsquo;un couplage \u00e0 vis m\u00e9canique. Rien qu&rsquo;au sein de DB Cargo, les employ\u00e9s doivent accrocher jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 50 000 fois par jour les accouplements de 30 kilogrammes \u00e0 des crochets en fer des wagons.<\/p>\n<h5>Des vitesses plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es possibles<\/h5>\n<p>Tous les clients ferroviaires b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de la num\u00e9risation des trains de marchandises : avec le CAN et des lignes d&rsquo;alimentation \u00e9lectrique et de donn\u00e9es continues, des vitesses nettement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es sont possibles, notamment parce que les freins \u2013 comme c&rsquo;est d\u00e9j\u00e0 le cas pour les trains de passagers \u2013 peuvent \u00eatre contr\u00f4l\u00e9s \u00e9lectroniquement. Les trains de marchandises, dont la vitesse est actuellement limit\u00e9e \u00e0 120 km\/h, s&rsquo;adapteront \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir beaucoup mieux aux horaires et aux vitesses du transport de passagers gr\u00e2ce au CAN.
