Des contrats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9s avec la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Siemens pour l&rsquo;achat de sept locomotives de type Vectron Dual Mode. De plus, deux autres locomotives du m\u00eame fabricant de la s\u00e9rie Smartron ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment acquises.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(K\u00f6ln\/Neuss) Une attention particuli\u00e8re est accord\u00e9e \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la protection de l&rsquo;environnement dans la r\u00e9organisation de la flotte de RheinCargo. \u00ab\u00a0Le transport de marchandises par rail est intrins\u00e8quement efficace et, par rapport au transport routier, beaucoup plus respectueux de l&rsquo;environnement. Un train remplace jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 52 transports de camions, par tonne-kilom\u00e8tre, le camion \u00e9met 110 fois plus de CO2 que le fret ferroviaire. Avec de nouveaux v\u00e9hicules de traction efficaces, cet \u00e9co-bilan d\u00e9j\u00e0 positif peut encore \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, justifie Daniel Jacobs, responsable de la gestion des v\u00e9hicules ferroviaires chez RheinCargo, la campagne de modernisation.<\/p>\n<p>Avec les nouveaux v\u00e9hicules Dual Mode, RheinCargo remplace progressivement les locomotives diesel utilis\u00e9es jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent dans le transport longue distance. Gr\u00e2ce au concept hybride, les locomotives peuvent circuler sous des lignes \u00e9lectriques ainsi que sur des sections non \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9es. Comme souvent seules de courtes sections ou zones \u00e0 destination ne sont pas aliment\u00e9es en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9, les sections principales peuvent \u00eatre parcourues \u00e9lectriquement. Cela r\u00e9duit consid\u00e9rablement les \u00e9missions. L&rsquo;\u00e9co-bilan positif est compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par le fait que RheinCargo ach\u00e8te de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 verte pour les locomotives \u00e9lectriques utilis\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;entreprise depuis d\u00e9but 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Un autre avantage est la flexibilit\u00e9 des mod\u00e8les : \u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;acquisition des locomotives nous permet \u00e9galement de postuler pour de nouveaux transports qui n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas attractifs pour nous jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent en raison des changements de locomotives n\u00e9cessaires\u00a0\u00bb, explique Jacobs. RheinCargo utilise d\u00e9j\u00e0 depuis le d\u00e9but de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2022 trois mod\u00e8les Dual Mode pour des transports entre Duisburg, Br\u00eame et B\u00f6nen, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;exploitation diesel n&rsquo;est n\u00e9cessaire que sur le premier et le dernier kilom\u00e8tre.<\/p>\n<p>En plus des mod\u00e8les hybrides command\u00e9s, RheinCargo a acquis deux autres locomotives Smartron. Les v\u00e9hicules appartiennent \u00e0 la famille Vectron de Siemens, sont \u00e0 la pointe de la technologie, particuli\u00e8rement efficaces et fiables. RheinCargo poss\u00e8de maintenant un total de huit locomotives \u00e9lectriques de ce type.
