Le ferry, qui sera mis en service en 2024 sur la ligne Puttgarden-R\u00f8dby, porte le nom de code PR24 et marque le d\u00e9but de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de navires sur cette ligne.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Cemre) Le 30 ao\u00fbt, Scandlines et le chantier naval turc Cemre ont atteint une \u00e9tape importante en lien avec la pose de la quille. Comme d&rsquo;autres navires modernes, le PR24 ne sera pas construit sur une seule quille. Il sera plut\u00f4t compos\u00e9 de plusieurs sections de coque. Mardi dernier, la premi\u00e8re section a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place sur le slipway.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab La date de la pose de la quille est int\u00e9ressante, car le navire doit \u00eatre construit selon les r\u00e9glementations en vigueur \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0. Ce jour est \u00e9galement associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des traditions. C&rsquo;est pourquoi nous pla\u00e7ons bien s\u00fbr une pi\u00e8ce nouvellement frapp\u00e9e sous le navire lors de la pose de la quille \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Michael Guldmann Petersen, COO de Scandlines.<\/p>\n<p>Les questions climatiques et environnementales figurent depuis longtemps en t\u00eate de l&rsquo;agenda de Scandlines. D\u00e8s 2013, l&rsquo;entreprise a investi dans des ferries hybrides avec batteries, et en 2024, le premier ferry sans \u00e9missions sera mis en service sur la ligne Puttgarden-R\u00f8dby. Seulement six ans plus tard, en 2030, l&rsquo;ensemble de la ligne sera sans \u00e9missions.<\/p>\n<p>Les batteries du ferry peuvent \u00eatre recharg\u00e9es en seulement 17 minutes \u00e0 R\u00f8dby. En 2019, Scandlines a investi dans un c\u00e2ble \u00e9lectrique de 50 kV \/ 25 MW pour le port de R\u00f8dby. Au printemps 2023, les travaux d&rsquo;extension de ce c\u00e2ble jusqu&rsquo;aux quais des ferries commenceront. Un transformateur et une station de recharge y seront install\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Avec un temps de travers\u00e9e de 70 minutes, le ferry est sans \u00e9missions. Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme ferry hybride, comme c&rsquo;est le cas sur les lignes Scandlines entre l&rsquo;Allemagne et le Danemark actuellement. En mode hybride, le temps de travers\u00e9e est de 45 minutes. Le ferry peut donc \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme ferry de remplacement lorsque l&rsquo;un des quatre ferries \u00e0 double extr\u00e9mit\u00e9, qui desservent actuellement la ligne Puttgarden-R\u00f8dby, est en entretien.<\/p>\n<p>Les travaux de transformation des terminaux \u00e0 Puttgarden et R\u00f8dby sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours. Le quai 1 \u00e0 R\u00f8dby sera transform\u00e9 en un quai pour les cinq ferries \u00e0 double extr\u00e9mit\u00e9. La partie libre du pont en b\u00e9ton, qui a permis l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s des voitures aux ponts sup\u00e9rieurs des ferries de 1970 \u00e0 1997, a \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9e, et la trappe du pont a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9mont\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une grue.<\/p>\n<p>Comme le PR24 peut transporter des camions \u00e0 la fois sur le pont sup\u00e9rieur et inf\u00e9rieur \u2013 comme le font les ferries Rostock-Gedser \u2013 le quai 1 \u00e0 Puttgarden et le quai 3 \u00e0 R\u00f8dby seront \u00e9galement transform\u00e9s.
