Le Zero est un design de v\u00e9hicule r\u00e9volutionnaire sans \u00e9missions, sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7u pour les environnements urbains.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Francfort\/Main) Quelques jours seulement apr\u00e8s la cl\u00f4ture de la conf\u00e9rence COP 26 \u00e0 Glasgow, DB Schenker, l&rsquo;un des principaux prestataires logistiques au monde et leader du transport terrestre en Europe, et Volta Trucks, un fabricant et fournisseur innovant de v\u00e9hicules utilitaires enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques, ont confirm\u00e9 un partenariat \u00e9troit et la pr\u00e9commande de pr\u00e8s de 1&rsquo;500 v\u00e9hicules Volta Zero enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques \u2013 la commande la plus significative \u00e0 ce jour pour des camions sans \u00e9missions en Europe.<br \/>\nCyrille Bonjean, Vice-Pr\u00e9sident Ex\u00e9cutif du Transport Terrestre chez DB Schenker en Europe, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab Sur la voie de la neutralit\u00e9 climatique, nous avons de nombreux d\u00e9fis \u00e0 relever. La collaboration avec DB Schenker sur la plus grande commande de camions enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques en Europe montre que les grandes entreprises de logistique nous font confiance pour livrer un v\u00e9hicule sans \u00e9missions de classe mondiale \u00e0 temps et avec la meilleure qualit\u00e9 possible. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Premiers d\u00e9ploiements au printemps et en \u00e9t\u00e9 2022<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dans le cadre du partenariat, DB Schenker d\u00e9ploiera au printemps et en \u00e9t\u00e9 2022 les premiers prototypes de camions Volta Zero chez des clients dans des conditions de distribution r\u00e9elles. Les enseignements tir\u00e9s de ces tests seront int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans la production en s\u00e9rie de 1&rsquo;470 v\u00e9hicules, qui seront fabriqu\u00e9s dans la nouvelle usine de production de Volta Trucks \u00e0 Steyr, en Autriche.<\/p>\n<p>Le camion enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique Volta Zero de 16 tonnes sera utilis\u00e9, entre autres, dans la r\u00e9gion de la Ruhr et dans d&rsquo;autres terminaux europ\u00e9ens de DB Schenker, pour transporter des marchandises des centres de distribution vers les centres-villes et les zones urbaines. C&rsquo;est ici que le design innovant du v\u00e9hicule, la cabine ax\u00e9e sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour prot\u00e9ger les usagers vuln\u00e9rables de la route et la propulsion sans \u00e9missions offrent le plus grand avantage. Ensemble, DB Schenker et Volta Trucks examineront les possibilit\u00e9s d&rsquo;utilisation de la technologie pour \u00e9ventuellement \u00e9largir l&rsquo;offre. Le d\u00e9ploiement commencera dans 10 sites dans 5 pays.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Autres v\u00e9rifications de sites<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dans le cadre du partenariat, les sp\u00e9cifications de la variante de 12 tonnes du Volta Zero d\u00e9j\u00e0 annonc\u00e9e seront \u00e9galement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es conjointement. De plus, d&rsquo;autres conducteurs seront form\u00e9s et des v\u00e9rifications de sites seront effectu\u00e9es pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l&rsquo;utilisation des v\u00e9hicules.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>\u00c0 propos du Volta Zero<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Le Volta Zero est le premier v\u00e9hicule enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique de 16 tonnes au monde, sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7u pour la logistique urbaine, r\u00e9duisant l&rsquo;impact environnemental des livraisons de fret dans les centres-villes. Le Volta Zero a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part avec une autonomie enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique de 150 \u00e0 200 km et devrait permettre d&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser environ 1,2 million de tonnes de CO<sub>2<\/sub> d&rsquo;ici 2025.<br \/>\nLa s\u00e9curit\u00e9 est \u00e9galement au c\u0153ur des pr\u00e9occupations de Volta Trucks, car l&rsquo;entreprise s&rsquo;est donn\u00e9 pour objectif de construire les camions les plus s\u00fbrs pour nos villes. Le Volta Zero a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part pour la propulsion \u00e9lectrique, ce qui augmente consid\u00e9rablement la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules, des conducteurs et des pi\u00e9tons. En raison de l&rsquo;absence de moteur \u00e0 combustion, le conducteur d&rsquo;un Volta Zero est plac\u00e9 dans une position de conduite centrale avec une hauteur de si\u00e8ge beaucoup plus basse que celle d&rsquo;un camion traditionnel. Cette combinaison et le design de la cabine en forme de serre offrent au conducteur un large champ de vision de 220 degr\u00e9s, minimisant ainsi les angles morts dangereux.
