La premi\u00e8re op\u00e9ration compl\u00e8te de ravitaillement en GNL aura lieu lors de son prochain voyage \u00e0 Singapour. &lsquo;Brussels Express&rsquo; est le premier grand porte-conteneurs au monde \u00e0 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 converti \u00e0 la propulsion au gaz.<\/p>\n<p>(Hambourg) Ce week-end, le navire de 15 000 EVP &lsquo;Brussels Express&rsquo; a fait son entr\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans son port d&rsquo;attache, Hambourg \u2013 c&rsquo;est le premier grand porte-conteneurs au monde \u00e0 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 converti \u00e0 la propulsion au gaz. En septembre 2020, le navire, alors encore sous le nom de &lsquo;Sajir&rsquo;, a \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9 au chantier naval Huarun Dadong Dockyard Co., LTD \u00e0 Shanghai. L\u00e0, toutes les pr\u00e9parations avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9es pour soulever le r\u00e9servoir de GNL de 1 300 tonnes \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une grue flottante et pour r\u00e9aliser d&rsquo;autres travaux de conversion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Comme il n&rsquo;y avait jamais eu de conversion de cette ampleur, nous avons rencontr\u00e9 de nombreux d\u00e9fis \u2013 de la planification \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre. Avec cette conversion, nous avons ouvert de nouveaux horizons et nous allons maintenant tester tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l&rsquo;exploitation pratique\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Richard von Berlepsch, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la gestion de la flotte chez Hapag-Lloyd. \u00ab\u00a0Le GNL fossile est actuellement le carburant le mieux adapt\u00e9 sur la voie de la neutralit\u00e9 carbone. \u00c0 moyen terme, l&rsquo;objectif est d&rsquo;exploiter les navires avec du m\u00e9thane synth\u00e9tique (SNG) de mani\u00e8re climatiquement neutre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5>\u00ab\u00a0Naviguer pour un avenir plus propre !\u00a0\u00bb<\/h5>\n<p>En r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au Green Deal europ\u00e9en, Hapag-Lloyd a renomm\u00e9 le navire &lsquo;Brussels Express&rsquo;. De plus, la phrase \u00ab\u00a0naviguer pour un avenir plus propre !\u00a0\u00bb orne le brise-lames \u00e0 l&rsquo;avant du navire.<\/p>\n<p>Le navire ne fonctionne pas encore enti\u00e8rement au GNL. \u00c0 la fin de ce voyage, des travaux de garantie finaux seront effectu\u00e9s.
