La navette est adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 toutes les marchandises compatibles multimodales dans des remorques et des conteneurs. \u00ab\u00a0Le produit corridor a d&rsquo;abord \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour les clients principaux de l&rsquo;industrie automobile, ainsi que pour leurs fournisseurs et transporteurs, mais il est \u00e9galement disponible pour les clients d&rsquo;autres secteurs\u00a0\u00bb, note Katharina Bockweg, responsable de compte chez DB Cargo Logistics. M\u00eame les transports de marchandises dangereuses, comme les batteries pour v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, sont envisageables \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir. Cinq fois par semaine, la navette \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence pour les m\u00e9gatrailers, les remorques interchangeables et les conteneurs circule entre Sarrebruck et Perpignan. Les clients ont ainsi la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer le rail comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de leur cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement sur ce corridor et de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des avantages du transport combin\u00e9. Pour le trajet de 1 000 kilom\u00e8tres, le train met moins de 24 heures \u2013 de mani\u00e8re fiable, sans embouteillages, temps de repos et frais de p\u00e9age. Ce n&rsquo;est pas seulement pour cette raison que la navette est une v\u00e9ritable alternative au camion. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que la durabilit\u00e9 est d\u00e9sormais un avantage concurrentiel et non plus seulement un facteur de co\u00fbt, le rail exploite pleinement sa force ici : par rapport au camion, environ 88 % de CO<sub>2<\/sub> sont \u00e9conomis\u00e9s : avec 800 kilogrammes de CO<sub>2<\/sub> par camion qui ne circule pas sur la route et une capacit\u00e9 de 34 camions par train, la navette \u00e9conomise jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 127 tonnes de CO<sub>2<\/sub> \u00e0 chaque voyage.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Quatre fois par semaine<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>DB Cargo Logistics compl\u00e8te maintenant le produit corridor avec le site de Cologne, reliant ainsi quatre fois par semaine une autre r\u00e9gion \u00e9conomique au march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais et espagnol.
