Zero-carbon deliveries in Baden-Wuerttemberg

As the latest project in its strategy to shift to emissions-free transport services in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Germany), the automobile transport provider Mosolf Group has added six fully electric car transporters to its fleet. It presented the e-vehicles at its hub in Illingen yesterday, 4 September.

Mosolf is seeking to gradually cut emissions out of its automobile transport services in this region. While up to six of the new electric trucks will now be in service at Illingen, six more are set to follow at the beginning of 2025. The company will receive around EUR 2 million from the German government for this project as part of its efforts to drive the green transformation of the transport sector.

“By expanding the electrically powered fleet, we can save up to 1,000 t of CO2 annually at the Illingen site,” says Egon Christ, head of corporate strategy at the Mosolf Group. (mk)
