XPO remains European too
The US-headquartered group XPO Logistics has decided to delay the sale of its European activities. The divestiture of its European business, as announced in March 2022, has been called off for the time being. The reason given was “weakened capital markets”, the company said in a media release.
The firm, having split off its brokerage and contract warehousing businesses into separate companies, is also set to be rebranded. The group will shorten its name to XPO, with the added on logistics set to vanish from its name on 19 December 2022. XPO now concentrate on its LTL services. (sh)
