Wheel misalignment more common than expected
RL Automotive, a UK-based developer of digital and sustainable technologies, has introduced a unique tyre management platform with a range of monitoring systems. It enables fleet managers in all commercial sectors to reduce running costs, increase safety and limit the environmental impact of their operations.
One such system, Auto Align, was recently launched in UK. The dynamic and real time vehicle monitoring module is designed to combat the problem of wheel misalignment. RL Automotive says that a third of all commercial vehicles in UK are unknowingly affected by this condition. Auto Align is currently undergoing field trials and is scheduled for release during Q1/2022. (ben)
