Westjet Cargo pushes further south
Westjet Cargo has made its first venture into the Cuban capital. Operating one of its four dedicated Boeing 737-800 converted freighters (BCF) every Wednesday on the Toronto – Havanna route, Westjet Cargo offers 20 t cargo capacity per flight per week, addressing the growing demand for cargo transport in Canada.
The dedicated division of the Westjet group of companies headquartered in Calgary, says it is "fully equipped to handle various cargo types, including general cargo, perishables and select dangerous goods, ensuring secure and efficient cargo transportation to Havana". (ah)
