WDS with new site in North Pacific
World Distribution Services (WDS), an affiliate of the World Group, recently secured a new 90,000 sqm distribution facility in the USA’s Pacific Northwest, giving customers an additional destination and thus more distribution options.
“Developing solutions to keep freight moving, we will continue to explore and leverage opportunities that expand our customer service offerings and align with our strategic growth plans,” said Fred Hunger, chairman of World Group, parent company of UWL and WDS.
World Group was founded over 60 years ago to work in vessel agency services on the Great Lakes. Its portfolio of brands now includes the Container Port Group, UWL, World Distribution Services and World Shipping. (sh)
