Wascosa elects new executive committee
Wascosa has appointed Iris Hilb as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective 1 January 2023 and restructured its executive committee.
The current members of the executive board now are: Peter Balzer (CEO until 31 December 2022), Iris Hilb (Nominee CEO until 31 December 2022 and CEO from 1 January 2023), Irmhild Saabel (CSO and CBDO), Markus Vaerst (CDQO), Dominic Felice (COO) and Stephan Kellmann (CFO).
Hilb was previously senior vice president customer service at DB Cargo and brings with her broad experience in sales, strategy, marketing, customer service, IT, wagon management and service purchasing.
Balzer will become the new chairman of the board of directors of Wascosa Holding once he steps down as CEO on 1 January 2023. (cj)
