Warehouse well-being for Kneipp
The Geis Group has commissioned the second building of its logistics centre near Schweinfurt (Germany). Geis uses the main part of the 20,000 sqm facility for its customer Kneipp.
Since it was founded around 130 years ago Kneipp has distributed more than 1,200 articles - and is now outsourcing more. Geis processes around 120,000 orders a year for Kneipp.
Geis has also set up two hazardous materials warehouses in the new facility, which together cover around 5,000 sqm.
More than 6,400 employees work in the Geis Group’s 122 European centres. (sh)
