Warehouse this side of the channel
There are plans to build a 42,000 sqm warehouse in the DLI South zone of the port of Dunkirk. A temperature-controlled rack feeder for 68,000 pallets is to follow. It will be located in the centre of the port's container and ro-ro terminals. The facility is planned as a fully automated cold storage warehouse project.
Julien de Lapize, CEO of the Northern Corridor Development Company (SDAN): "The logistics area of the West Port of Dunkirk is close to the container and ferry terminals, and will serve as a gateway to and from the Hauts-de-France region." (sh)
