VTG: Klaus Wessing to head sales in Europe
Klaus Wessing will assume his position as VTG’s head of sales and operations on 1 July 2023, reporting directly to Sven Wellbrock, chief operating officer Europe & chief safety officer.
In his new role, the qualified freight forwarder will oversee the marketing and sales of VTG's hire, transport and logistics services in Europe and continue to manage VTG Rail Europe, VTG Rail Logistics and VTG Tanktainer.
Wessing joined VTG as business unit manager of VTG Tanktainer in April 2021. Wessing previously held management roles for several groups and joint ventures, including head of logistics at the distribution company Helm overseeing a team of over 40 employees. Before joining Helm, Wessing was director operations and HSSEQ at Alfred Talke. (cj)
