Viasea expands in UK
Norwegian owned company and shipping line Viasea Shipping, established in autumn 2016, has opened a new office in UK. Due to increased traffic between UK and Norway, Viasea has appointed Andrew Ellis as UK managing director to set up the office in Immingham (UK).
With over 30 years’ experience in the shipping industry, Ellis knows the UK market, having been tasked with responsibility for UK operations, sales and management. He specialises in the short sea shipping segment, with a background from both short and deep sea markets.
Viasea aims to be an asset for the short sea business and to deliver container services between Europe and Norway to its customers. (amh)
