Valenciaport promotes female leadership
The Port Authority of València (PAV) and the Valenciaport Foundation participated in the #Life event, a training programme that promotes the power of women in the port industry, held this week in Panama.
The event was attended by 45 women managers in the maritime sector – managers of various shipping companies, operators and port administrations – from 18 countries in Latin America and Spain.
As sponsor of the event, Valenciaport awarded a scholarship to the student Nuria Bianco, marketing director of Porto Panama.
Ana Rumbeu, director of training of the Valenciaport Foundation, and Carmen Garcia Vilar, head of territorial management at PAV, represented the port of Valencia at the event as speaker and student respectively. (cj)
