V. Group expands Chennai office
V. Group (“V.”), a global ship management and marine services provider, has expanded its office in Chennai, India, enhancing its regional operations and customer engagement.
The new office consolidates two existing locations, bringing together over 200 staff involved in crewing, seafarer recruitment, ship management, decarbonisation, digitalisation, and various business functions like finance and IT.
Chennai, a key maritime hub, hosts V.’s operations support centre, which supports more than 400 vessels worldwide. The expansion builds on V.’s long-standing presence in India since 1984 and aims to better serve clients and seafarers in the Indian market and support efficient, sustainable maritime operations. (pb)
