USA: Hudson gains access to the BNSF network
The construction work for BNSF’s new rail hub in Hudson, near Denver in Colorado (USA), started with the ground-breaking ceremony.
The logistics centre for class I railroads is designed to improve access to Denver and the surrounding markets via new rail-served sites. The 174 ha facility features 15 sites for customers who wish to ship their cargo via individual railcars and a unit train site for entire trainloads.
With its direct investment in the new hub, BNSF plans to improve its services in strategic end-user markets. (ben)
