US contract logistics player turns French
French major player Geodis has acquired 100% of the shares of the US-American "Need It Now Delivers" from the private equity fund Palm Beach Capital and further stakeholders.
The contract logistics company, founded in 1987, has built up a road freight network comprising about 65 company locations and 300 distribution points. It is particularly strong in the eastern United States.
"Need It Now Delivers" specialises in distribution, last-mile delivery and multi-channel contract logistics. The New Jersey-based company employs approximately 2,000 people and its revenues in 2022 are expected to reach about USD 750 million. (sh)
